Having made some hundreds of parachute jumps, I know some turbulence. When you're in free fall right on top of someone, you know that there is a very latent risk, which involves going into the whirlwind air that forms over another, and that means you can not hold you in a homogeneous air mass if you put just above error. In fact, entering the turbulence created by another body is likely to get crashes on it, which is very dangerous as well as a balcony aventarte over another person who does not see you and therefore not prepared greet.
These turbulences increase if you have below is not a body, but several. In this case, taking photos of a team that he figures to have to approach the edge of the turbulence to have a good angle, but this means you have to be very prepared if something causes that the turbulence moves towards us, which happens if the entire team slips in our direction.
The reaction is instantaneous: they spread the wings (a freefall photographer often used) or alternatively extending the maximum body surface creating a sort of bubble that can withstand the turbulence, while causes an immediate exit from the unstable region by changing the angle of the body toward the direction that is considered less affected by the swirl of air in which we entered.
As every Mexican, I listen for information that attempts to explain the death of the former during nearly 10 months the Secretary of the Interior, Juan Camilo Mouriño, and 13 people. The last thing I read said that the pilot, Martin de Jesus Oliva, entered a turbulent time for failing to reduce speed. Feeling the shock would have said
- oral turbulence that (a Boeing 767 located at a distance that apparently was not overly close)
- What do Alvaro? (Alvaro Sánchez Jiménez, the official passenger jet, which had more than 12 thousand flight hours instead of 3600 that had the pilot).
How do we do that? At this stage landing the biggest risk that was running was just that, getting into the front air turbulence and no longer be sustained by the air mass. The pilot was not facing a strange situation, but the situation we had to keep in mind at that moment. The reaction must be in all flight manuals is discussed so many times it is not necessary to think about it when it happens. It does what it has to do instant of the first shock. I have a problem believing that particular line of the transcriptions that we do get by the media.
